One of my favorite channels on television is ESPN. They've spawned off several other channels - ESPNNEWS, ESPN2, ESPN CLASSIC, ESPN U, and ESPN 8, THE OCHO (not a channel just a reference to the movie Dodgeball) to show other sports programming such as The World Series of Poker, Cheap Seats and one of my favorites, Stump the Schwab.
The premise for Stump the Schwab is simple; you go up against the foremost sports trivia expert on the planet - Howard Schwab. There are three rounds. In the first round three contestants go up against the Schwab. The contestant with the fewest points gets the boot. In the second round, the two remaining contestants go up against each other. After the second round is over, the winner faces off against the Schwab in round three.
I'm really good at trivia especially worthless sports trivia. So,this week I downloaded and filled out an application to be a contestant for Stump the Schwab from ESPN's website. Who knows, I might be a contestant on Stump the Schwab in the near future.
