Over the weekend I caught Property Ladder, a fix and flip show on TLC. This past weekend they had a couple purchase an 800 sq ft home for $590K and after renovations were complete they tried to sell it for almost $800K. I thought $1000 per square foot seemed high until cracked open today’s Rocky Mountain News.

Condo near Denver Country Club listed at $13.9 million

A 9,854-square-foot penthouse just west of the Denver Country Club is hitting the market at $13.9 million, far more than what any condominium in the Denver area has ever fetched.

$13,900,000 ÷ 9854 = $1411
