Hi! I work at CurrentForeclosures.com a foreclosures site. I have been reading a lot about the doomsday scenario created by the unabated increasing trend of rising foreclosures. It is good news to hear some states are recovering.
It is good to read that there are already resolutions being implemented to stall or curb this crisis. This may not immediately solve the problem just yet, but at least steps have been taken to resolve it.
It must be said, so of all people I guess I’m the one most would suspect: Colorado has a couple of things that other states in the union don’t: A public trustee’s office and a statutory redemption period.
Everyone must be aware that CO’s statistics are inflated compared to the rest of the nation since our stats go to the statisticians while in the default state. What most don’t know is that many of these defaults get cured, granted they may fall back into foreclosure later, the stats are inaccurate in the way they are portrayed.
There is a lot more than meets the media-fed eye. Just ask Phil…he knows
